Faces of the Night is a self-contained statement that explores identity, power, and performance within the charged atmosphere of the nocturnal world. The work presents figures not as portraits, but as characters—revealed in moments where social masks loosen and inner tensions surface. Balancing glamour with unease, the composition confronts the viewer directly, creating a sense of mutual observation and psychological intensity. The piece reflects Mihov’s ongoing inquiry into human behavior.

Aimed at challenging the viewer’s perspective, the piece can be turned upside down or sideways, to reveal multitude of hidden, previously unrecognized faces, much like a night out in town.

Completed in 2017.

Exhibited with the Candid Art Trust and the Fusion Exhibition in London
